DUBAI (BURJ KHALIFA)

Dubai, a city belonging to the seven UAE (United Arab Emirates), has 3.1 million inhabitants and lies in the Arabian desert. It was a great experience for me personally. For the first time in my life I have experienced roads with ten lanes on the road :) I admired the traffic on the road without traffic jams.

Everything goes very well, at least I think it. In Dubai, there are over 80% immigrants. The population consist mainly of people from India, Pakistan, Bangladeshi and the Philippines.
In an interview with Pakistanis, I learned that life in Dubai is not the easiest and they have to work a lot (sometimes up to 7 days and 12 hours) for an average wage.

Of course, this city is one of the richest on Earth, the whole economy is built on the oil industry. Also on the basis of this interview, I was grateful for my state, Slovakia. In which there are many negatives, that could be improved, but overall I'm satisfied with life here.
The thing I never get used to in the city is the heat, very difficult breathable air. Therefore, I recommend the winter months, as I wrote in the previous article.

Currently, Dubai has the world's tallest building, Burj Khalifa, with a height of 828 meters. They are building even higher, which will have over one kilometer, Dubai Creek Tower.I love the architecture and watched on this building with great admiration. When we visited the Burj Khalifa, the weather was good, many times you don't see anything because of the fog. Tickets must be booked in advance for the day and time.
Another highlight was Dubai Frame, a frame that divides the city into two. On one side we had a view of the new city and on the other we could see the old city, Deira.

Last but not least, you should not miss the water fountains in front of the Burj Khalifa. For me they were also a wonderful experience, like the whole city.
I am looking forward to visiting the city in a few years and see the changes, because the architecture in the city is moving fast forward. For me it was partly a "visit to the future." :)
