ROME & VATICAN CITY

The Vatican, the smallest state in the world, also called the Vatican City State, located in the center of Rome. These cities belong to my favourite places in Europe. History, museums, architecture and tasty Italian food. You can find everything there!
The Vatican territory has only 0.44 km² (44 hectares) and consists of the Basilica of St. Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Gardens, etc. I recommend visiting the Dom of St. Peter´s Basilica, after climbing more than 500 stairs, you can enjoy views of the Vatican and Rome.

We spent 4 days in Rome and I have to say, it´s enough. We have seen almost all the monuments that tourists should visit. Among the most famous are the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Apostolic Palace, the Piazza del Popolo and many others. In addition to these sights, we had time to stroll through the city and enjoy the pleasant (slower) Italian life.
If you weren't in Rome, I would definitely recommend this city.
