BARCELONA

The capital of Catalonia, Spain's second largest city, is located in the Mediterranean Sea, Barcelona. Nowadays, the city is well connected with the whole of Europe, you will arrive at the El Prat International Airport from all over Europe, you can find cheap air tickets mainly in low season.

I like traveling out of the season, in addition to lower prices, there are considerably fewer tourists in the city, you will experience the true atmosphere of the surroundings. Also, the temperatures are more affordable and the beaches are more peaceful.
If you like to relax on the beach, I recommend the month of September/October, when the sea is warm, there are less people and lower prices. It is also not the worst in May/June, but the sea is still cold. Conditions often depend on the country you are traveling to.

Barcelona, my favorite Spanish city. I felt very comfortable there. The relaxed atmosphere in the city, a tasty meal, historical architecture and many charming places.
La Sagrada Familia or the temple of the holy family, each side of the building is unique and different in construction. The architect is Antoni Gaudi, an artist who has built more buildings in Barcelona. His works include Casa Mila, Casa Battlo, Casa Vicens, Park Guell and others.
From Park Guell you have a beautiful view of the whole city, but consider a higher entrance fees. If you are not a maniac for art, I do not recommend going inside.
In summer you can also take the cable car from the port to Montjuïc, where is a pleasant surroundings. When you can go to Placa d'Espanya and the popular La Rambla shopping street.
You should not miss Mercado de la Boqueria, the traditional Spanish market where they have the best smoothies! Football fans, as well as non-fans, should not miss the Camp Nou football stadium.
Finally, take a walk along the famous Barceloneta beach and taste typical Spanish dishes like: paella, tortilla española, patatas bravas, chorizo, gazpacho soup or churros dessert.
